About us 
The Adelaide Animal Emergency and Referral Centre (AAERC) is part of a well-established group of specialist veterinary hospitals. We offer a wide range of specialist services and provide 24-hour emergency and critical care through our facilities in SA, NSW, ACT, VIC and QLD. Services offered in our hospitals include internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, oncology, ophthalmology, behavioural medicine, avian and exotics, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, cardiology and physiotherapy.

The role 
The AAERC is now recruiting for a small animal medicine specialist to join the team on a permanent and/or locum basis. Both full time and part-time positions would be considered.  Eligible candidates will be board-certified and eligible for registration as a specialist veterinarian in South Australia. 

The successful candidate will enjoy a diverse caseload and working as part of a good-humoured team, which includes other board-certified specialists, radiology support and is complemented by a full cohort of clinical, admin and support staff. The centre provides high standards of clinical care with patient outcomes front and centre.  

The AAERC offers a fully equipped hospital with state-of-the-art facilities including CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiology, endoscopy, Idexx laboratory equipment including blood gas analysis, 3 operating theatres, isolation ward, and ventilator, with an MRI on its way.
