Senior Clinician/Clinician in Small Animal Cardio-respiratory Medicine

Salary: Grade 8/9: £43,266 - £54,765/£51,630 - £63,463 per annum. The post may be eligible for a clinical supplement and has a generous "on-call" allowance.
The University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary Medicine is seeking to recruit a Senior Clinician/Clinician in Small Animal Cardio-respiratory Medicine.The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Small Animal Cardiology or equivalent qualification, but a residency-trained colleague due to sit exams will also be considered.
You will deliver an efficient and effective small animal cardio-respiratory referral service by providing expertise and clinical activity in the Small Animal Hospital. You will enhance and develop the delivery of clinical teaching to undergraduates, interns and residents.
You will be based at the Small Animal Hospital, located at the Garscube Estate, 10 minutes drive from the vibrant “West End” of Glasgow, and less than one hour from Loch Lomond. You will be joining a friendly and dynamic team of approximately 30 clinicians, 28 residents/interns, 40 nursing associated staff, and 11 management / administrative staff, supporting over 10 clinical specialities. In addition, there is a busy first opinion out of hour’s service supported by 4 clinicians and 14 nursing associated staff.
This position is open ended and full time.
