Specialist/Senior Clinical Registrar in Small Animal Medicine

• Full-Time (38 hours per week), 12 Months Fixed Term, Base Salary: Level 7/8, $99,945 p.a. - $111,866 p.a., Plus a generous employer’s contribution to superannuation.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Medicine, the Specialist/Senior Clinical Registrar in Small Animal Medicine, will provide a clinical service in small animal medicine. To provide high quality clinical training, close supervision and assessment of students at UVTHS.

• A veterinary degree that is registrable in NSW
• Postgraduate experience in Small Animal Medicine including experience in managing complex patient cases
• Available and willingness to participate in after-hours, on-call and emergency work.
• Experience in provision of clinical instruction to postgraduate and undergraduate students
• Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching

This position operates within the Sydney School of Veterinary Science's teaching hospital at the Camperdown Campus. The School of Veterinary Science educates students and conducts research in veterinary and related sciences. The teaching hospital provides the clinical learning experience for students and staff engaged in professional veterinary undergraduate and postgraduate training programs. The hospital is a commercial centre that provides a range of first-class and best-practice veterinary services to the public. This role will provide clinical services to clients of the hospitals. The appointee, will train, supervise and asses students during rotations
