Internist – Looking for the best of both worlds?

Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital is seeking an additional Board Certified Internist to join our busy internal medicine service.  We are looking for a dedicated and keen individual with a strong commitment to superb patient care. If you are looking for a team-oriented approach in a beautiful location with easy access to the great outdoors and big city life...this is a fantastic opportunity.

Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital is a well established, privately owned, specialty referral practice with a growing team of specialists and hospitalists. We have recently expanded into a new 10,000 sq foot facility with 24/7 care for our patients. Our primary multi-specialty (surgery, internal medicine, oncology, neurology and part-time radiology) hospital is located in Langley, a suburb of Vancouver, B.C. with an additional modern facility in beautiful Bellingham, WA.

We offer a full complement of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment including digital radiography, endoscopy, laparoscopy, ultrasonography, on-site CT and MRI. In addition to a complete in-house lab (Chem, CBC, Blood gas, UA, and Coag), a full reference diagnostic lab with clinical and anatomical pathology and microbiology is located in the same complex. An interest in ultrasound would be an asset.

Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital is dedicated to providing the best care, service and communication to our patients, clients and referring vet community. The hospital culture promotes an enjoyable, down-to-earth and respectful environment for all. Our support team are highly trained and passionate about continuing to learn. In addition to a competitive base salary plus production-based bonus, BBVSH offers flexible scheduling, continuing education and a generous benefits package.

The region boasts world-class cultural offerings and abundant outdoor recreation opportunities. BBVSH has practices in Langley, B.C. and 45 minutes away in the beautiful city of Bellingham, WA. There is the unique opportunity to live in either Canada or the United States.
