Clinical Director – Vet Oracle Telemedicine
Are you an experienced medicine Specialist (ECVIM or ACVIM) with personal, leadership and business aspirations?
If so, we have an exciting new role for you.
‘VetOracle Telemedicine' is a brand new, B-2-B Telemedicine service. Sitting within the Vet Oracle family, which currently runs teleradiology, teleneurology and telecardiology services, we are now seeking a Clinical Director to help develop and launch the telemedicine service.
Our ambition is for VetOracle telemedicine to launch in the summer of 2020 and offer telemedicine services to all CVS small animal first opinion practices in UK and Ireland, with an emphasis on improving clinical standards across our first opinion practices and ensuring referral to our specialist referral centres where appropriate. Importantly, we want Vet Oracle telemedicine to provide a friendly, personal service where a close relationship with colleagues is encouraged.
This exciting role will involve leading, developing and expanding the Vet Oracle Telemedicine services, working alongside other colleagues in Vet Oracle (e.g. ‘Vet Oracle teleneurology' led by Laurent Garosi and Simon Platt) and utilising our other medicine specialists across the group to provide a full service. We recognise that in order to maintain your specialist accreditation, you will need to continue to perform clinical duties, therefore it is envisaged that we would be able to offer approximately 25% of your time linked to one of our Specialist referral hospitals where you can also undertake clinical duties.
We can offer a flexible working pattern, a great work-life balance, a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package including enhanced pension, health insurance (family), life assurance, income protection, CPD allowance, RCVS library membership, and the opportunity to buy discounted company shares.
