The Division of Small Animal Internal Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Liège, Belgium, offers the following positions

 Assistant in small animal emergency and critical care, starting October 1, 2008.

The main aims of this position are to teach small animal emergency and critical care medicine to undergraduate veterinary students, to interns and to internal medicine and surgery residents, to become an active member of the Small Animal Clinic and possibly, to participate to the research activities of the small animal group.

Candidate must be able to demonstrate peculiar knowledge and experience in the field of small animal emergency and critical care medicine, or be ECVIM or ACVIM diplomats, specialty internal medicine, cardiology, or oncology, or being board eligible, or ECVS or ACVS diplomats or board eligible. They should have at least basic knowledge of the French language, and be willing to improve these language skills as needed to communicate with the owners of our patients.

 Assistant in small animal anesthesiology, starting October 1, 2008.

The main aims of this position are to teach small animal anesthesiology to undergraduate veterinary students, to interns and to residents, to become an active member of the Small Animal Clinic and possibly, to participate to the research activities of the small animal group.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate peculiar knowledge and experience in the field of anesthesiology, or be ECVA or ACVA diplomats or board eligible .They should have at least basic knowledge of the French language, and be willing to improve these language skills as needed to communicate with the owners of our patients.
