 We are currently seeking a full-time Head of Clinical Pathology / Internal Medicine to manage clinical pathologists and internal medicine consultants working in the United Kingdom. The position will be located in our Wetherby, UK laboratory. Responsibilities for this position include:

-       Managing clinical pathology and internal medicine consulting teams;

-       Focusing on customer service to support our clients’ diagnostic needs;

-       Participating in business development strategies directed toward the continued success and growth of IDEXX Laboratories in the UK;

-       Acting as a liaison between IDEXX and local universities, including participating in laboratory extension programs to further the post-graduate education of laboratory clients;

-      Participating in the professional development of other IDEXX clinical pathologists, scientific staff and sales staff through continuing education programs; and

-      Representing IDEXX at external scientific meetings and conferences, including participating in the delivery of scientific content. 

Qualified applicants must have a BVSc, DVM or equivalent training. Board certification by a recognized specialty college is highly desirable, but not mandatory. Salary is competitive and is commensurate with experience and qualifications, and includes an attractive benefits package.
