  The Clinical Studies Fund 2008

Article 3c of the constitution of the College of Veterinary Internal Medicine states that one of the major objectives of the College is “Encouraging research and other contributions to knowledge relating to pathogenesis, diagnosis, therapy, prevention, and its control of diseases directly or indirectly affecting the internal organs of companion animals, and promoting communication and dissemination of this knowledge.”

Due to the generous support of the industry we have been able to establish the “ECVIM Clinical Studies Fund”. This fund invites applications from diplomats for grants to perform clinical research. Only clinical projects that do not involve invasive or harmful procedures will be considered.

  •  All applications will be reviewed by a specialist panel that would approve or reject the proposals based purely on scientific merit.

  •  Deadline for applications February 15, 2008.

  •  Maximum funding per project - 10,000 Euro

  •  Applicants will be informed of the reviewers decision by April 30, 2008

The ECVIM-CA is deeply indebted to the following contributors to our “ECVIM Clinical Studies Fund”.
